The Russell Kin Trust are delighted to have contributed to the Community Foundation of Surrey’s Winter Poverty fund with a £5000 grant. The Community Foundation of Surrey brings local donors together to support community projects within Surrey.

Amy Lee, Fund Development Manager for the community foundation says The Winter Poverty Fund has been set up to support “the most current and emerging needs in our communities across the county, particularly targeting people who are struggling to meet the cost of high energy bills this winter.”

After coming across the appeal RKT sprung into action, with a quick grant approved and sent directly towards the fund. We are passionate about supporting local community projects, a goal shared with the community fund.

The Community Fund is adept at supporting the local surrey community. Utilising their local knowledge and expertise “we can be responsive in addressing critical issues through food banks, community fridges, warm hubs, baby banks, debt advice and other urgent help.”
